Wow! I’ve been tagged!

Ok, Jenn Zingeheim. You’re on. I was not sure what being “tagged” meant, but I think it means that I have to follow along with a string of comments. And for those of you who know me or have read any of my blogs, you know that I do not lack opinions. So here goes:

4 things you like about summer

  1. Sunshine. I have recently been validated that sunshine produces vitamin D and stimulates your thyroid, so you feel more energetic and happy. I’m usually lethargic and grumpy.
  2. Baseball. I am addicted to the Boston Red Sox.
  3. Crossing the Bay Bridge on the way to the Delaware beaches and feeling my troubles left behind.
  4. Going to the pool 3-4 times a week.

4 of your favorite vacation destinations

  1. Ireland – any city
  2. Paris
  3. Madrid
  4. Miami

4 of your favorite summer foods

  1. Margaritas (not a food, but must provide some vitamins or nutritional value).
  2. Burgers on the grill.
  3. Steaks on the grill with plenty of Montreal steak seasoning.
  4. Funnel cake on the beach when my son and I try to blow the powdered sugar into each others’ faces.

4 concerts not to miss

  1. Bon Jovi.
  2. Bruce Springsteen.
  3. Van Morrison.
  4. Here’s the controversial one – may he rest in peace – Sam Kinison in his prime.  Funnier than hell, which is where he is probably residing right now.

4 things to avoid during the summer

  1. Weeding my lawn.
  2. Mosquitos.
  3. People at the beach/pool who should be pre-approved to wear bathing suits.
  4. Lightning

  1. David Wescott
  2. Jason Falls
  3. Cheryl Contee

  1. aren’t you nice – seems there’s a lot of tagging going on lately. I need to give this some thought.

Expect to be tagged back on something else… 😉

  2. […] At any rate, I’ve been tagged in the type of meme I don’t like. I could go quietly into fair night and only have my meme passer-oner slightly perplexed at me, but I happen to really like his work and expertise. He also seems the kind of person I’d enjoy having a cocktail with. And, I’m just coming off vacation and needed a little writing jump-start. So, as much as I loathe these things, here’s to Mark Story. […]
